Ayuda a Emilio Gutiérrez
He encontrado una página del máximo interés para ayudar al héroe de Lazcano, que destrozó una herriko taberna a mazazos. Ahora se enfrenta a una multa y a la reconstrucción de su casa. Dentro hay un número de cuenta para ingresar el dinero.
We do need another hero or who’s Emilio Gutiérrez
(as FAQ)
Who is Emilio Gutiérrez?
He´s the man who on February, 24, 2009 broke down an herriko taberna (‘people’s tavern’, literally) with a mace in the village of Lazcano (Lazkao in basque), in Spain.
Why did he do it?
Because a bomb of the terrorist group S.H.I.T.had broken down Emilio’s newly reformed house hours before.
Beg your pardon, I don’t know a terrorist group called S.H.I.T. Does it exist?
Not with that name, I’m talking about the terrorist group with an E, a T and an A, but I don’t want to give them another reference in Google, it is an ethical line of behaviour in this blog. So I hope you don’t mind that we use the name S.H.I.T. instead, and, please, that you don’t use that name either if you make any comment.
But what is the relation between S.H.I.T. and those herriko tabernas?
They are the same. The herriko tabernas is where the supporters of S.H.I.T. meet.
Does it mean that everybody there supports the terrorism?
Except a few cases of mistakes or insane curiosity, all of them are bastards who support the bombs and the killing of people.
But why aren’t herriko tabernas closed down, being a meeting place for criminals?
Because judges don’t consider that there is a clear link between them and S.H.I.T.
How can that be?
Because Justice in Spain is not serious. Probably you come from a really democratic country and this will sound completely weird to you, but Spain is a strange place (we wouldn’t say exactly a democracy) where it looks that some judges compete between themselves to be the freakiest or the most obedient to certain political parties. Here we are light years away from UK or USA, for instance.
What do people think of Emilio Gutiérrez?
They (we) consider him as a hero and would have loved to have the guts to do what he did.
Why do you consider him as a hero, having commited a crime?
Because things are absolutely perverted in Spain, there is no freedom in the Basque Country and politicians or Justice do nothing or few to avoid it, so this is why it has pleased to the Spanish society.
Do you mean that political parties have criticised Mr. Gutiérrez’s attitude?
Most of them. Political parties in Spain act and think far away from the people’s thoughts and wishes more than you can imagine.
What have been the consequencies for Mr. Gutiérrez?
He was arrested by Police and will have to face a fine, whose amount is being now collected by thousands of Mr. Gutiérrez’s supporters. Besides, Mr. Gutiérrez had to leave Lazcano because of death threats.
But hasn’t Mr. Gutiérrez got supporters in his own village of Lazcano?
Sure he has lots of them, but no one dares to show publicly their support because they are scared. Remember there is no freedom there.
One last question: Why do BBC and other media from the UK keep on talking about the ‘basque group’ or the ‘basque activists’ when they refer to S.H.I.T., instead of ‘terrorist group’.
I don’t know, many people are tired of writing letters to those media about this matter, trying to stop this. Ask them to give you a proper answer, probably you will be luckier than I.
